What Will I Be Today? is a vibrant, imaginative pre-school series that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and cultural diversity. Each episode invites viewers to step into the whimsical world of six-year-old characters who explore the boundless possibilities of who—or what—they can become.

From becoming an astronaut exploring distant galaxies to saving baby birds from hungry tigers to even transforming into a deep-sea blob that can't swim, these young dreamers bring their vibrant imaginations to life.

This series is rooted in authenticity and representation. Each character's story reflects their cultural background, family structure, and language, offering a rich tapestry of experiences. While primarily an English-language series, What Will I Be Today? seamlessly incorporates high-frequency words and phrases from the characters' home languages, creating a reflective and inclusive narrative.

With a gentle and reflective tone, this series empowers children in Aotearoa to see their unique selves on screen while exposing them to culture, myths, and languages different from their own.

What Will I Be Today? is a celebration of dreaming boldly and finding joy in the everyday adventures of childhood.
