About

Bigsies and Littles is a heartwarming and funny animated series about friendship, curiosity, and the small lessons that make up a big life. Set in a picturesque, gentle bay, it follows Little Blue, an eager, imaginative young penguin, and Big Blue, his calm, patient, and good-humoured best friend. Together, they explore their coastal world, discovering the wonder in everyday things while learning about themselves along the way.

Each episode begins with a simple moment that unfolds into an adventure. Whether Littles is trying to bring in the tide, teach himself to whistle, or figure out what is means to feel safe. Bigsies is there to guide with warmth, humour, and the occasional song.

Around them, a colourful community of beach-dwellers joins the fun: Hopper the excitable sandhopper; Helen the anxious hermit crab; Whetū the wide mussel; Allie the albatross; Bruce & Kevin, two musical tūī friends; Murray the grumpy morepork; and Fish and Chips, two gulls always on the lookout for their next snack.

Told with gentle humour, music, and heart, Bigsies and Littles captures the timeless feeling of childhood curiosity and the joy of learning how the world works.
